The World Contest is being held in conjunction with the New Zealand Ploughing Championships. The four day contest is being held under the auspices of the New Zealand Ploughing Association Inc on the J.F. Ridge & Sons farm 10km from Methven.

Unofficial practice ground:
There will be a limited amount of suitable land available for unofficial practice. This is available at NZ $750 plus GST (12.5%) per hectare. Please click here to order your requirements.

Sixty competitors from 30 countries will take part in conventional and reversible ploughing classes on both stubble and grass plots.

Please ensure all tractors and ploughs are thoroughly cleaned of all soil before consigning.
New Zealand is very strict on only allowing clean machinery to be imported.
Failure to attend to this will cause delays and cleaning expenses for you at the wharf.
